Reply to a message

Someone wrote to you and you want to answer in the same thread.

Before you start

  • A message in your Inbox

Steps

  1. In Inbox, tap the message.

  2. At the bottom, tap Reply… and type your answer.

    The round button beside it opens the full composer, if you want a subject line or an attachment.

  3. Tap the ➤ button.

  4. Check the details in Send to 1 recipient?, then tap Send.

You will know it worked when

The dialog closes and your reply is added to the bottom of the same thread. The subject it goes out under is shown in the confirmation, prefixed Re:.
