Blocking someone
Blocking on DatsMe is not one switch on a person — it is two separate things: blocking a comment author, and blocking an email address.
This is the thing worth knowing before you go looking: there is no Block button on a person. Your friend list's ⋯ menu offers View profile, Voice call, Chat, Share profile, Gift credits, Remove friend and Edit how you know them — and no Block. What you can block is a comment author — which hides what they write on your pages — and an email address, which stops mail from it reaching your inbox at all. They are different acts with different consequences, and they are stored separately. Settings → Blocked People is the one screen that shows both, which is why it is easy to assume there must be a single control behind it.
What it can do
- See everyone whose comments you have blocked, in one list
- See every email address you have blocked, in a second list on the same screen
- Unblock either kind from that screen
- Block a comment author from the comment itself
- Block an email address from the mail it arrived in
Worth knowing
⚠️ No steps here yet, and the reason is worth stating. The wave-3b walk established where blocking lives and what it is — two unrelated stores sharing one settings screen, with no person-level control anywhere — but did not carry a block and an unblock all the way through on a real surface. Steps come from a completed walk or they do not go in, so they wait for the next pass.

Who can see it
Who you have blocked is yours alone — the list is account-level and is not shown on your page or to the person blocked. See Who can see what.
