Visibility & privacy

Visibility controls decide who can see each thing on your DatsMe page — anyone, your friends, or only you.

There is no single switch. Visibility is a ladder of separate controls — your whole account, each section of your page, each collection, and each item inside it — and the narrowest one always wins. A collection set to friends stays friends-only even inside a section that is public.

How to

What it can do

  • Set a ceiling on your whole account, which outranks every control below it
  • Set who can see each section of your page, from the badge beside its heading
  • Set who can see one collection, and separately each item inside it
  • Leave an item unset so it follows whatever its collection says
  • See the current setting at a glance — every badge shows its level as a coloured dot and a word
