Your profile
Your profile is the top of your page — your picture, your name, a quote, and a few lines about you.
Everything here is edited in place, on the page itself, not in a form somewhere else: you tap the thing you want to change. The one exception is your display name and tagline, which live in Settings under Profile Page & Theme.
How to
- Write the few lines about yourself that show on your pageSomeone lands on your page and you want them to know who they are looking at.
What it can do
- Write a few lines about yourself, edited directly on your page
- Show a quote you like, with who said it
- Add a profile picture and a cover photo
- Add badges that say what you are into
- Show a QR code that opens your page, so someone can scan it instead of typing your address
- Attach a song that plays on your page — see Profile song
Worth knowing
Your display name and tagline are not edited here — they are in Settings under Profile Page & Theme, in the Profile Details block.
Who can see it
Your profile is governed by one setting for the whole page, in Settings under Privacy: Public — anyone, Friends — friends only, or Private — only you. That is separate from the per-section badges further down your page — see The sections of your page and Who can see what.
