Change who can see one section of your page
You want your interests public but your thoughts kept to friends, or the other way round.
Before you start
- You are looking at your own page, signed in
Steps
Find the section and look at the coloured badge to the right of its heading.
Green Public means anyone, yellow Friends means your friends only, red Private means just you.
Tap the badge once. It changes immediately to the next setting.
⚠️ It does not open a menu. One tap is the change — there is no list to choose from, nothing to confirm, and no message afterwards. Read the badge to see where you have landed.
Keep tapping until it reads what you want.
The order goes Private → Public → Friends → Private, so it takes at most two more taps from wherever you are. Note that the single tap out of Private lands on Public, which is the widest setting — if you overshoot, two more taps bring you back round.
Check the badge one last time before you leave the page.
The badge is the only record of what you chose. Nothing else on screen reports it.
You will know it worked when
The badge shows the new setting in its new colour, and it stays that way when you come back to the page. Sections marked always private, cannot be changed — Applications, your connections, Personal Folders — do not respond to the tap at all.
