Find a group and join it

You want to be part of a shared space — a club, a circle, a common interest.

Before you start

  • You are signed in

Steps

  1. On your own page, scroll to Group Connections and tap Join a group.

    If you are not in any groups yet, that is the only thing in the section — a + card reading Join.

  2. Search by a tag, not by a name.

    The box says Search groups by tag… and it means it. Group names are built from the creator's address and the tags, so the tag is the part you can actually guess.

  3. Read the row before you tap anything.

    Each one shows the member count, its tags, a description, and a badge on the right: Public or Semi-Private. That badge decides what happens next.

  4. Tap Join.

    On a Public group you are in straight away. On a Semi-Private one you are not — see the result below.

You will know it worked when

On a public group the button becomes Joined! and a red Leave appears beside it — you are a member immediately and the group shows up in your Group Connections. On a semi-private group the button becomes Request sent and there is no Leave button, because you are not a member yet; someone has to let you in first.
